The Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma State Cowboys have met on the gridiron 110 times with OU owning an 85-18-7 record against their in-state rivals. Oklahoma had a 19-year winning streak over the Cowboys from 1946-1964, and have since strung together a 9-year streak from 1967-1975, and a 15-year winning streak from 1977-1991.
Oklahoma State has one won back-to-back games four times (1944-45, 1965-66, 1997-98, 2001-02) to equal their longest winning streak in the series.
The Sooners have more shutout victories (28) in this series than the Cowboys have total wins and from 1954 to 1956 OU won by a combined score of 120-0. The Cowboys didn't score their first points in the Bedlam Rivalry until the 1914 game, which was the 9th year of the series, and OSU didn't record their first win until 1917. The 85 wins by the Sooners makes Bedlam one of the most lopsided rivalries in the country.
