2016 PG Jordan Shepherd Signs With The Oklahoma Sooners

Flying under the radar, Jordan Shepherd recently signed (according to Sooners Illustrated) with the Oklahoma Sooners becoming the fifth member of the highest rated class under Coach Lon Kruger...the 2016 Class. After a visit to Norman over the weekend, the 6-3 point guard out of North Carolina left impressed. While the late signing period ends on May 18th, the announcement to ink with OU came roughly nine days beforehand.

Behind a desire to attack the rim consistently, Shepherd shows the ability to score from nearly every spot on the floor. However, the point guard continuously displaying a willingness to involve teammates in the action. Above average court vision combined with speed when the ball is in his hands makes this player one to watch. It's almost baffling to know this kid remained unranked by all recruiting services with offers from multiple mid-majors.
