Oklahoma Sooners Baseball | Pete Hughes Set to Return as Head Coach?

Raise your hand if you are frustrated/disappointed with how the Sooners baseball season turned out. The Sooners made a bit of noise in the Big 12 tournament, but in the end it all proved to be for not. Hughes future had been up in the air, and if twitter is any indication many Sooner fans clamored for him to be let go. However, it appears that he and his staff will be around for at least one more season.

Kendall Rogers tweeted out the following (he would know) about Hughes future in Norman.

I’ve been told steadfastly that @OU_Baseball HC Pete Hughes and his entire staff will return to #OU for another season. #BoomerSooner

While this move was expected by most, it might not be the most popular among Sooner fans. Hughes has had at best mixed results throughout his time in Norman.

My Thoughts...Give him one more year
