On September 20, 2014 the Oklahoma Sooners beat West Virginia 45-33 in Morgantown. The game marked the 100th regular season Big 12 victory for Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops, making him the first conference coach to achieve that mark.
The number one hundred was just significant to Coach Stoops in this game. With 101 receiving yards in the contest, Sterling Shepard recorded his third consecutive game of hitting the century mark. It was the first time that had been accomplished by an OU football player since Jalen Saunders did it in 2012 against West Virginia, Oklahoma State and TCU.
Speaking of 2012, Samaje Perine's then career-high 242 rushing yards allowed the Sooners to have a 100 yard receiver and a 100 yard rusher for the first time since Damien Williams and Jalen Saunders did it against TCU in the 2012 season.
Finally, sticking with the them of 100, Alex Ross provided us with this little gem from that 2014 game in Morgantown.
