Oklahoma Sooners Football Recruiting: Sooners On the Verge of A DL Commitment?

The Sooners could be on the verge of some good recruiting news later this week (Saturday) with the potential commitment of 2017 DL Isaiah Thomas (6-5/230) from Tulsa, OK. Thomas has seen his recruitment take off over the spring picking up offers from school likes Mizzou, Bama, Nebraska, Baylor, Texas A&M, Tennessee, South Carolina, OKState, and the Sooners.

Thomas let everyone know of his impending commitment with the following tweet.

I've decided that I'll be announcing my Commitment to a College on May 28th!

Thomas will need to gain weight to play in the Sooners 3-4. He does however have the frame, and he flashes incredibly ability on his film.

Should Thomas commit to the Sooners on Saturday, he would begin to fill out a pretty major need along the defensive line for the Sooners class of 2017. If I were a Sooners fan, I would be excited for Saturday.
