I always like big time running backs and the Sooners have added one in 2017 RB Trey Sermon 6-1/220 from Marietta, GA. Sermon announced his commitment with the following tweet.
Sermon chose the Sooners over offers from Bama, ASU, Auburn, Duke, UF, UGA, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, S. Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, Vandy, WVU, and Wisconsin. Sermon is your prototypical power back that can punish defenses for not wrapping up correctly .
Sermon's commitment continues the Sooners incredible momentum for the class of 2017. Even with the de-commitment earlier today of WR Cedarian Lamb, the Sooners class of 2017 is star studded and not even close to being finished.
I also believe the Sooners are not yet done at running back and could be landing a player currently committed to a Big 10 school soon.
