The wear and tear of the season appeared to have worn down the Oklahoma Sooners to begin the game. Turning the ball over multiple times early, OU found themselves with a small deficit. Yet, a resurgence started behind a Buddy Hield three pointer - his first points of the game. Trading the lead throughout the first half, Lon Kruger and his squad headed to the locker room with a 31-30 lead.
The second half was not impressive either although the Sooners never trailed. Not quite able to pull away from the league's last place team, the Sooners collected their 24th win of the season on a 75-67 victory over the TCU Horned Frogs.
At the other end of the spectrum, TCU has now suffered through three 20-loss season since joining the Big XII Conference.
