The Oklahoma Sooners will in fact be in Oklahoma City for the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. As the #2 seed in the West, OU will host Cal State Bakersfield on Friday and then, barring major upset, will go up against the winner of #7 Oregon State vs. #10 VCU on Sunday with a trip to the Sweet 16 on the line.

Joining those four teams in Oklahoma City are #6 Texas vs. #11 Northern Iowa and #3 Texas A&M vs. #14 Green Bay. The prospect of a Texas/Texas A&M second round match-up is extremely intriguing, but if you're an Oklahoma fan you probably should be cheering for the Aggies to lose as soon as possible.
Duke is also represented in the West, as the #4 seed, and will play against UNC-Wilmington. The Blue Devils will possibly play against #5 Baylor in the second round. The Bears drew a first round match against #12 Yale.
The Oregon Ducks are the top seed in the West.
Cal State Bakersfield are the WAC champions and finished the year with an overall record of 24-8. They are led in scoring by senior center Aly Ahmed who posts 12.9 points 6.2 rebounds per game.
