Emmanuel Beal is an explosive player off the edge, that much is obvious. The big question is fit, as he is kinda an unknown at this point. He will need to continue to add weight, but Beal should be given every opportunity to prove the doubters wrong, as the Sooners desperately need linebackers who can play and play early.
While obviously not proven at this point, Beal has an explosive first step not unlike that of Eric Striker. Beal is the third Lackawanna Community College commitment in the Sooners class of 2016.
