Jon-Michael Terry was one of the earliest commitments in the Sooners class of 2016, committing at one of the two Sooner's Junior Days. Size was never an issue with Terry (6-3/220), but the question was always how Terry would translate his skills from a private school to the Sooners. That question was partially answered as Terry more than held his own at the Semper Fidelis All-Star Game. He showed natural instincts and had a knack for making plays. Had he attended more camps or not shut his recruitment down so early, he would easily have multiple offers.
Terry will have to add at least 10-15 pounds to his frame before he would be ready to contribute, and as such I believe the coaches will do everything they can to redshirt Terry. In time however, I believe he can be a really good football player, as he is much more physically gifted than either Jordan Evans or Dominique Alexander were coming out of high school.
