Ben Powers recruitment is unique in the fact that even though he is a JUCO, he was a full qualifier, meaning that he still have 3 years (plus a redshirt available) left. Powers elected to attend JUCO out of high, as he didn't have the offers, but that all changed as his recruitment took off. Powers decision came down to OU and TCU, and the Sooners were just to much to overcome for the Horned Frogs.
With the holes at offensive guard, it wouldn't surprise me to see Powers make an impact next season. Powers is an early enrollee and is already on campus at Oklahoma.
