The Oklahoma Sooners officially have new Defensive Line coach according to multiple reports. Dipping into the pool of alumi, Calvin Thibodeaux appears to be making a return to Norman although the university has yet to make the announcement.
I can confirm that Calvin Thibodeaux will be the new #Sooners DL coach: https://t.co/bZtKImyfok

Thibodeaux played defensive end at the University of Oklahoma from 2002-2006 earning All-Conference Honors during the 2005 season. A native of Houston, the coach spent time as a graduate assistant with Houston before making the jump to bigger and better things. The journey back to OU placed Thibodeaux at Dartmouth and Tulsa before join the Kansas Jayhawks coaching staff in 2015.
Currently, it appears as though Thibodeaux could be one of the better recruiters. Although the Jayhawks posted a 0-12 record this past year, Thibodeaux nearly convinced Amani Bledsoe to remain closer to home. As we all know, Bledsoe eventually went on to sign with Oklahoma and the two will be reunited.
Regardless, welcome back Calvin!
