Buddy Hield Climbing Oklahoma Sooners All-Time Scorers List, Sets Sights On Darryl Kennedy

Heading into Saturday's contest against the West Virginia Mountaineers, Buddy Hield remained eleven points behind Stacey King on the Oklahoma Sooners all-time scoring list. With a handful of opportunities left for the senior, it was only a matter of time before Hield began his climb into the top five.

Pouring in thirteen points in the first half this past Saturday, Hield registered his name as one of the top five all-time scorers at the University of Oklahoma. However, the star guard wasn't done against the Mountaineers. After enduring a two game skid, the Sooner defense came alive on the road. While the offense continues to find the rhythm it once had, Hield added another sixteen point in the second half (29 total points) closing the gap between himself and Darryl Kennedy.

Currently, 71 career points separate the two. But, with four games left in the regular season and the current clip at which Buddy scores, he could easily become OU's 4th leading scorer in no time.
