Approximately a year ago, the Sooners announced the hire of Diron Reynolds, who left Stanford to become the defensive line coach for the Sooners. Well today the exact opposite is taking place as Reynolds will now transition back to Stanford to assume the role of defensive line coach (Stanford's DL coach just recently retired). Here is the confirmation of the move.
Oklahoma DL coach Diron Reynolds expected to have same position under Stanford coach David Shaw per source.

This will mean that the Sooners are looking for a new defensive line coach for the second year in a row. While this obviously stings as Reynolds was not only a really good coach, but was rapidly ascending to the level of a really good recruiter, it makes sense for Reynolds as it has been reported that his family still lives in California.
As far as potential replacements, we will let you know as soon as we can about possible replacements.
