Former NFL offensive lineman Jamaal Brown — an All-American at OU who played in Norman from 2000-04 — recently tweeted about what appears to be Oklahoma offensive tackle Orlando Brown’s decision to stay in Norman for another season. Orlando also retweeted the tweet.
@ZEUS__78 will not be entering the draft!! He is not a follower, he is smarter than our players who made that mistake in the past

If this is indeed true (and it probably is, based on the retweet), this is an enormous victory for the Sooners. Oklahoma is now set to return all five of its starting offensive lineman in 2017, along with quarterback and Heisman candidate Baker Mayfield. Brown is an absolute monster, and I can’t wait to watch how well he can do with some more experience under his belt. His time to play pro football will definitely come, but I’m glad he’s (supposedly) deciding to hone his skills for another year.
At the same time, the rest of this tweet from Brown — while true — is awfully blunt. There are plenty of players off the top of my head who fit this criteria, but this is probably going to make a few people (including former teammates of his) unhappy.
