Oklahoma wide receiver Dede Westbrook was named a finalist for the Heisman trophy on Monday evening, and the senior is grateful to say the least.

This is incredible. Westbrook was a TEXAS STATE commit out of high school before attending Blinn College, so he’s had his share of doubters in his time. I also love how pumped he is for his quarterback in this video. Westbrook is a selfless, high-character guy who will be doing great things long after his time in Norman.
The Heisman Trophy Ceremony will take place on Saturday night at 7 CT and will be shown on ESPN. Westbrook is also a candidate for the Biletnikoff Award, and a winner will be announced on Thursday evening at the College Football Awards Ceremony.
