The Oklahoma Sooners are destined for a spot in the Sugar Bowl, and it’s looking like the Sooners will face the Auburn Tigers. Although there isn’t going to be much drama on Oklahoma’s end today, the College Football Playoff Selection Show is going to be intriguing for any fan of college football.

Will Penn State — the champions of the best conference in college football this season — be left out in the cold in favor of an Ohio State team that didn’t win a conference championship and couldn’t defeat Penn State in a head-to-head matchup? Probably, and I think that’s how it should be.

I’m also interested to see how all of these other bowl pairings go down. Bowl season is as entertaining as anything in sports, and we’re all hoping for some intriguing matchups.
