Adrian Peterson returned to action for the Vikings for the first time since suffering a meniscus injury that kept him sidelined since Week 2. The former NFL MVP got the start, rushing 6 times for 22 yards and adding a catch for 1 yard but also losing a fumble in limited action. Minnesota was no match for the Colts, however, as Sam Bradford and the offense never got going on the afternoon. Bradford went 32-of-42 for 291 yards with no touchdowns and one interception. The Vikings managed only six points and surrendered 34 on the day.
Sterling Shepard caught 4 passes for 56 yards and found the end zone for the seventh time this season in the Giants home win over the Lions.
Kenny Stills took his only catch for 52 yards and a touchdown as the Dolphins beat the Jets on Saturday night. Jordan Phillips recorded 2 tackles for the Miami defense.

Corey Nelson was all over the field for the Broncos in a loss to the Pats on Sunday. Nelson earned another start and racked up a game-high 13 tackles and also defended a pass for the Denver defense as he continues to impress as the season wears on.

Nelson’s former Sooner teammate Demontre Hurst earned a start on the Bears defense and exploded with 5 tackles, a sack, a tackle for loss and a hit on Aaron Rodgers in the home loss to the Packers. Hurst continues to shine and may have secured himself a spot on an NFL roster next season with his recent performances.
Continuing the trend of former OU defensive studs enjoying career seasons in the NFL, Cardinals safety Tony Jefferson registered 6 tackles and defended 2 passes in a shootout against the Saints. Teammate Jermaine Gresham caught 3 passes for 42 yards in the high-scoring home loss.
DeMarco Murray carried the ball 18 times for 89 yards and caught 5 passes for 52 yards in the Titans win at Kansas City. Murray still sits at second in the league in rushing behind only Ezekiel Elliot and just ahead of Le’Veon Bell.
Tight end Blake Bell caught a pass for 45 yards in a 49ers loss against the Falcons. Bell unfortunately went down with an apparent shoulder injury following the catch that set up a San Francisco touchdown, and has been ruled out for the season.
