Four-star center and Oklahoma native Creed Humphrey signed a financial aid agreement with Oklahoma on Thursday. Humphrey will enroll at OU early and participate in spring practice.

Humphrey is listed as the No. 3 center and No. 315 overall prospect in the 247 Composite rankings, and he’s received offers from Alabama, Texas and Texas A&M. He was originally committed to the Aggies, but Bill Bedenbaugh was able to change his mind back in August.
When looking at the film, it’s easy to see why Humphrey is so highly thought of. It’s not just the fact that he’s so big (6-4, 301) that jumps out at you — it’s the fact that he’s so tenacious. The Shawnee native has a motor that just doesn’t stop, which is something you don’t see often enough from a high schooler.
Eric Wren will be Oklahoma’s center once again in 2017, but the position will be up for grabs in 2018. Do be surprised to see Creed Humphrey snapping the ball to Kyler Murray or Austin Kendall (or maybe Chris Robison?) that season.
