Three-star junior college athlete Marcelias Sutton has official signed a letter of intent with the University of Oklahoma. The North Carolina native originally committed to Oklahoma back in March, choosing the Sooners over North Carolina State.

Sutton is a product of Lackawanna College in Pennsylvania, a school that also produced current Sooners Kapri Doucet, Emmanuel Beal and Ashton Julius.
Listed as an athlete by some services, Sutton is a home run hitter who can be utilized in a number of ways out of the backfield or in the slot. With his speed, I wouldn’t be too surprised to also see him returning kickoffs for the Sooners next year. If Mixon and/or Perine decide to head to the NFL in the offseason, Sutton could play a pivotal role in the offense in 2017.
The Sooners have already received a letter of intent from wide receiver Marquise Brown.
