The League City, Texas native will be taking an official visit to Norman this weekend for the Bedlam game. He was previously one of only two commits in Baylor’s 2017 class, but he announced his decision to de-commit and re-open his recruitment this past Sunday. On Monday, Daniels announced via Twitter that he had received an offer from the Sooners.

Daniels is listed as the No. 68 corner in the 247 Composite rankings, and he holds offers from Arkansas, Houston and Texas Tech in addition to the schools listed above. TCU will be tough to beat for his services, and they’ll be hosting him for an official visit on Dec. 10.
Daniels’ stock has risen as of late, and it’s not difficult to see why. He’s a solid 4.5 guy with good length, and he should be able to add some body mass by the time he sees the field at the next level. Also, check out that first defensive highlight in the video above. HE TURNS AROUND FOR THE BALL! Maybe OU’s current corners can learn something from him (I’m only partially kidding).
