It was a quiet Week 6 for many Sooners across the league.

Though it was a relatively quiet week for some familiar names, a few performances still stood out in Week 6. And some major injury news out of Pittsburgh has OU fans a little worried about a certain backup quarterback’s upcoming matchup in Steeler country.

DeMarco Murray found the end zone again in Week 6. The NFL’s fourth-leading rusher finished with 21 carries for 65 yards and a score in the Titans’ home win against the Browns.

Damien Williams rushed six times for 12 yards and a touchdown, and added five yards on two receptions in the Dolphins surprise win against the Steelers. Kenny Stills caught two passes for 12 yards, while Jordan Phillips got the start once again on the Miami defensive line. Williams’ touchdown:

Pittsburgh linebacker Lawrence Timmons in the video above likely echoed what many across Steeler Nation were feeling after Sunday. In the wake of the knee injury to Ben Roethlisberger, forgotten ‘stache bro Landry Jones is expected to make the start at quarterback for the Steelers against (gasp!) the Patriots next weekend. That should go well.

Sterling Shepard caught four passes for 25 yards in the Giants win against the Ravens. The day belonged to Odell Beckham, Jr., as Shepard has cooled off considerably after his blazing start to his rookie campaign. The G-Men travel overseas for a Week 7 date with the Rams in the UK.

Zack Sanchez earned another start in the Panthers secondary and contributed five tackles in a wild shootout loss in New Orleans.

Aaron Colvin, two weeks removed from suspension, registered five tackles for the Jaguars in a close 17-16 win at Chicago.

Aaron Ripkowski carried once for no gain and caught a pass for two yards in the Packers home loss against Dallas.

Stacy McGee continues to start for the Raiders, and registered two tackles in Sunday’s loss at Kansas City.

Jermaine Gresham started and caught one pass for 14 yards in the Cardinals Monday Night blowout win against the New York Jets. Tony Jefferson was held to a season-low two tackles, but contributed to another dominating performance by the Arizona defense.

Lane Johnson’s 10-game suspension was finally (and expectedly) upheld by the league. And the Eagles sure did miss him on the road at Washington, as quarterback Carson Wentz took a beating all afternoon. Johnson is expected back Week 16.

These Sooners also saw action for their respective teams this weekend:
