Update: JUCO LB Kapri Doucet To Visit Norman

It now appears that Kapri Doucet will be visiting OU the weekend of January 22nd. I'd be shocked if doesn't commit on the visit or soon after

Yesterday the Sooners extended an offer to 2016 JUCO LB Kapri Doucet 6-2/225. This is an offer that was seemingly made possible after Dominique Alexander declared for the NFL draft. Doucet had recently committed to Arizona, but has since de-committed. Doucet's reasoning for the de-commitment is summed up nicely in his own words.

Doucet has gone from seemingly unnoticed to having offers from Louisville, WVU, Arizona, Iowa St., Utah, and now the Sooners over the course of the last month.  Some may question why Doucet is only a 2-star recruit, because his highlight video is incredible.I believe he will be re-evalutated and move up in the rankings before things are said and done. Further, while stars are important, Doucet's film shows a player that has star potential far beyond his current ranking. Check it out below.

Look for Doucet to visit the Sooners after dead period ends. I fully expect him to be a Sooner on national signing day.
