The Sooners got some much welcomed news in the class of 2016, as 4-Star offensive tackle Erik Swenson 6-5/300 announced via twitter that he has committed to the Sooners.

Swenson was originally committed to Michigan before the craziness of the pulled offer hit. Sooners offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh immediately followed him on twitter, and the end result is what we have today. Swenson also had offers from Bama, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Virginia Tech to name a few.
He has the potential to be an impact offensive lineman at the next level, with good feet and a frame that can add lots of additional strength. Now the Sooners await the decision of 2016 Offensive Tackle Tramonda Moore 6-5/330. Moore is a National Signing Day decision.
