**UPDATE** Josh Jacobs hosted several Sooners coaches today (including Bob Stoops himself). He tells us that they want him to visit and that if he is committed to OU, he would have a spot.

Obviously in any recruiting class, adding difference makers at the skill positions are always a priority. It appears that the Sooners might just do that in-state star Joshua Jacobs

The Sooners are making a push for arguably the most talented player in the state of Oklahoma in the Class of 2016 in Tulsa Mclain 3-Star running back Joshua Jacobs (5-10/200). Jacobs starred at quarterback for Tulsa McClain High School, but is being recruited as a RB/WR.

We reached out to Jacobs, and he let us know the both Jay Boulware and Cale Gundy have been in contact and a visit looks likely this week.

Jacobs has the talent to be a star and his highlight video backs that up. He possesses not only the ability to make people miss, but the speed to leave them behind.

We will keep you updated on additional information with Jacobs, should things continue to develop. We are confident however in saying that adding a player of Jacobs talent to the Sooners class of 2016 would never be a bad thing.
