4-Star DL Chris Daniels De-Commits From Oklahoma

I'm sure many of you have heard the news by now, but the Sooners lone defensive line commit for the class of 2016 Chris Daniels has decommitted. He announced his decision on twitter with the following tweet

Daniels had been committed to OU for 33 days, but there was always some question, especially after Texas offered him on the day the he committed to the Sooners.

While I don't think the door is completely closed on Daniels and the Sooners, I would be shocked if Daniels eventual decision was anything but Texas or Texas A&M.

As far as what's next for the Sooners, they are still firmly in the mix for the following players

4-Star Amani Bledsoe 6-5/270

4-Star Briston Guidry 6-3/275

3-Star Marcel Southall 6-3/270

3-Star JUCO Jamar King 6-5/285 (No OU Offer Yet)

I also wouldn't be shocked to see another name or two emerge between now and NSD.
