Oklahoma Sooners Set to Host 4-Star DB Jared Mayden

It always a good thing to amass talent, especially at defensive back, especially in the Big 12. The Sooners are quietly positioning themselves to add another difference maker in class of 2016 DB Jared Mayden (6-0/200). Mayden visit was confirmed by Bob Pryzbolo with the following tweet.

Mayden has an interesting connection, as his dad played basketball at OU. Mayden is not without options as he has offers from everybody but is down to seemingly FSU, Bama, and now the Sooners. This will be Mayden's fifth and final visit (which usually means good things).

There are several storylines which are interesting to follow with the seemingly late visit of Mayden. It could be the Sooners are quite sure if Parrish Cobb/Parnell Motley are solid, but I doubt that is the case. It also could be that they see either Cobb or Motley starting at WR (which is a scenario I could see happening).
