4-Star OL JohnCarlo Valentin Commits to Oklahoma Sooners

This happened REALLY fast, but the end result is a massive commitment in the class of 2016 in 4-Star OL JohnCarlo Valentin 6-5/335. Valentin was visited by OU coaches earlier today, and moments ago tweeted out his commitment to the Sooners.

Valentin would most likely be seen as an offensive guard at the next level, but it wouldn't surprise me to see him wind up at RT. Valentin ccommitted to the Sooners over offers from ASU, Auburn UConn, Illinois, Michigan, Pitt, NCState, Purdue, Rutgers, SCar, Syracuse, UCLA, VTech, Wisconsin, and Wake Forest.

He breaks a long commitment drought for the Sooners and helps solidify an offensive line class that needed to close on some major prospects. Valentin is the 16th commitment in Sooners Class of 2016.
