Sooners Visit 4-Star OL JohnCarlo Valentin

The Sooner coaches hit the road recruiting this morning and one of the first players they checked in on is 4-Star OL JohnCarlo Valentin 6-5/335. Valentin is from Philadelphia, PA and officially visited the Sooners when they hosted Akron. Here is the tweet confirming the visit.

I had assume that Valentin and the Sooners had gone in different directions, but that is clearly not the case.

Valentin is seemingly a prototypical mauler at guard, but it wouldn't shock me to see him be able to make an impact at RT. Valentin has offers from schools such as ASU, Auburn, Michigan, VTech, UCLA. SCar, NCState, Wisconsin, and the Sooners.
