Oklahoma's men's basketball team is ranked second in the nation and senior guard Buddy Hield is a big part of the reason why. On Monday the Big 12 Conference tabbed Hield as the conference player of the week after he averaged 38.5 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists in two games against the Kansas schools.
For the season Buddy is averaging 26.6 points per game and has scored 20 points or more in eight consecutive games this season. He's also gone over the 30 point mark in six of Oklahoma's fourteen games this season. He earned the award, for the third time this season, after shooting 64.9 percent from the floor, and 60.9 percent from three-point range, against the Jayhawks and Wildcats.
