The No. 2/1 Oklahoma Sooners clashed with the No.1/2 Kansas Jayhawks in Allen Fieldhouse providing an instant three overtime classic. Unfortunately for OU fans, the Sooners fell while KU took a firm hold over the top ranking. Bouncing back after their first loss, Oklahoma went on to defeat the Kansas State Wildcats to retain the No. 2 spot in the country, this time in both polls.
Outside of the two frontrunners, the conference boasts three others in the rankings Baylor joins the group of Big XII representatives this week after a road win over a ranked Iowa State Cyclones squad. But, West Virginia continues to climb the ladder reaching No. 11/10 this week in the polls.
