On the heels of the Orange Bowl, Zack Sanchez announced his intention to enter the NFL Draft. Coming to Norman from from Ft. Worth as a part of the 2012 recruiting class, Sanchez redshirted as a true freshman. With a year of eligibility left, the cornerback will forgo his senior season at the University of Oklahoma.

Over the course of his career, Sanchez earned 37 starts (missed games against Iowa State and Kansas State during the 2015 season due to injury) tallying up 15 interceptions. Often the vocal leader of the secondary, Sanchez was tabbed as a FWAA Freshman All-American after bursting onto the scene in 2013 and followed up the performance with First Team All-Big 12 honors in 2014.
