Coming into the weekend the Sooners might have been on the outside looking in for star 2016 WR Tyrie Cleveland 6-3/190, but his official visit this weekend should have placed the Sooners firmly in contention if not in the driver's seat.

Cleveland let everyone know about how the visit went via twitter.

It also didn't hurt that Baker Mayfield through the ball around Owen Field on Saturday to nine different wide receivers for 487 yards.

Cleveland is a difference maker, who would likely compete for a spot on the field as a true freshman. While I'm not quite ready to predict Cleveland to be a part of the class of 2016, the Sooners appear to have caught the competition.

Here is a short highlight clip of Cleveland in action.
