Attrition is a part of every college football program and it has hit the Sooner program again as junior WR Austin Bennett is no longer with the Sooner football team. Guerin Emig tweeted it out.

Bennett's time in Norman was strange. He didn't redshirt and initially was looked at as a player who might be a significant contributor. However just like the tweet says, he only had 3 catches over the last two seasons.
Bennett was a three star recruit out of Manvel, TX who signed with the Sooners over Arkansas, Ole Miss, MIss St., SMU, TCU, Texas, Tulsa, and West Virginia.
We wish Bennett nothing but success as he transitions to the next stage in his life.
