2015 Oklahoma Sooners Countdown To Kickoff | 5 Days!

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

A former four star recruit from St. Louis Missouri, not many thought we would have to wait four years for Durron Neal to have a breakout season. But heading into his senior season with just three touchdowns in his career, it seems like Neal's senior season should be his best one by a mile. Especially with a new pass-heavy offense.

Neal seemed to always shine best when no one else was, scoring a touchdown in the Kansas State and Baylor game of last season. This year, he should look to find more consistency in games. Consistency was the biggest issue with Neal last season, who would seemingly make a good play and then not come down with another one the rest of the game.

His route running ability should make him excel in the air raid, as most of his catches were shorter routes where he found open space.

Here's one of Neal's touchdowns this season, where he found space in the back of the end zone.

5 more days until kickoff.
