DL Du'Vonta Lampkin's Journey Ends in Norman

This one has been a longtime coming, but it appears that a final conclusion has been reached with class of 2015 DL Du'Vonta Lampkin 6-4/306 from Houston, TX. Lampkin tweeted out his announcement.

Lampkin's journey has been anything but normal. He was one of the earliest Sooner commitments for the class of 2015, only to decommit and wind up signing his LOI for the Longhorns.

Things didn't quite go as planned for Lampkin, as classwork issues presented a hang up for him attending Texas. The Longhorn coaches would not release him from his LOI, but now as the fall semester at each school is about to begin, the LOI to Texas can no longer carry weight for Lampkin.
