In their home game against the Tennessee Vols during the 2014 season, the Oklahoma Sooners posted a 34-10 win. Trevor Knight threw for 308 yards while Sterling Shepard reeled in five catches for 109 yards. On the defensive side of the ball, the Oklahoma front disrupted much of what their opponent hoped to complete during the outing.
This upcoming season, the Volunteers will attempt to exact revenge this fall as the Sooners travel Knoxville. The match-up should pit two ranked opponents from opposing conferences in a showdown. The winner will likely be propelled higher into the rankings with one of the best wins of the season up to that point. Let's hope it's the folks from Norman!
