TCU may have joined the Big 12 in 2012, but the Sooners had a history with the Horned Frogs before they joined their conference. In 2005, they infamously beat the Sooners 17-10, in a time when Bob Stoops losing at home was unthinkable (they did go on to win the next 39 after that). In 2008 though, they played Texas Christian during the Sam Bradford era and dominated the game 35-10.
Bradford passed for over 400 yards and TCU didn't score a touchdown until the fourth quarter to make the final score look less embarrassing. The Sooners defense forced TCU into four turnovers, including one Andy Dalton interception before he left with injury.
Strange to think that both quarterbacks are now NFL starters with years of experienced under their belt.
