On November 1st, 2014 Oklahoma traveled to Ames, Iowa to take on a Cyclones team that was reeling. The Sooners had just dropped a 31-30 decision to Kansas State and were looking to rebound as well. What transpired on the field was a 59-14 victory where three OU players ran for over 100 yards each.
Trevor Knight led the team with 146 rushing yards (he also passed for 230 more), Alex Ross had 144 (11.1 yards per carry), and Samaje Perine added 110. In all, the Sooners netted 510 total rushing yards at a clip of 8.6 yards per carry. OU had a total of 751 yards on the day and, through both the air and on the ground, Knight was responsible for 6 touchdowns.
