The class of 2016 commitment drought ended today as the Sooners picked up a a commit from Shreveport, LA defensive back Chanse Sylvie 6-0/186.
Sylvie was one of the earliest Sooner offers and a commitment that many had been hoping would come for a while. However as the process played out, many had thought the the Sooners had slipped with Sylvie, but he put that to rest today with this tweet.

Sylvie also had offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Baylor, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, TCU, Tennessee, TTech, Vandy, and Washington.
Sylvie is the 7th commit for the class of 2016 and is a consensus 3 star recruit.
