As next week's conference media days draw closer another round of preseason rankings has been released. This time it's the conference standings where members of the media picked the Sooners third. This comes on the heels of yesterday's all-conference team where OU placed five players, tying them with TCU for the second most in the conference.
TCU was far and away the top pick by the media, gaining 408 voter points, followed by Baylor, 384 points, and Oklahoma a distant third with 312 points. Rivals Oklahoma State and Texas follow at fourth and fifth respectively to round out the top five.
