The Sooners hosted a key recruit for the class of 2016 in DE Xavier Kelly of Wichita, KS. Kelly checks in at 6-4/240 and judging by this pic is all but ready to compete at the next level.

While the Sooners got in a little late on Kelly, I believe the are close if not in the driver's seat for the standout from the Sunflower State.

Diron Reynolds also made sure that Kelly is a priority with this tweet.

The Sooners have done a great job of coming up to but not crossing the line regarding the rules for social media and recruiting. This tweet was obviously a direct tweet to Kelly, but still well within the recruiting boundaries. They have also used hashtags such as #feevaisland and area codes to identity the prospects they are heavily recruiting. X-Men is another in the long line of subtle, yet direct ways of publicly tweeting recruits.

I would be shocked if Kelly is not in the class of 2016. He could also easily be joined by fellow Sunflower State standout Amani Bledsoe 6-5/265 from Lawrence, KS.

Here is a highlight video of Xavier Kelly in action.
