In every class there are certain prospects that receive offers and you know immediately they will never set foot on the Sooner campus. They are the longest of long-shots. The opposite of this is also true. There are always prospects that are described as "locks" for a certain school or a prospect is a strong lean for a particular school.
This year is no different as there are a handful of prospects that appear to have the Sooners way out in front in their recruitment. Here are the 5 players I believes are most likely if not almost locks to be Sooners on National Signing Day.
1. LB/S Calvin Bundage 6-3/200 from Edmond, OK
Bundage has offers from numerous schools including Oregon, Tennessee, Michigan, Arkansas, Arizona, and Arizona St. While primarily playing safety, he should find his home at linebacker at the college level. He has been to Norman numerous times and should be a part of the class of 2016.

2. LB Caleb Kelly 6-3/215 from Fresno, CA
The Sooners were Kelly's first offer and now his offer list is too numerous to count. He has ties to several current Sooners (Michiah Quick, Hatari Byrd, and Joe Mixon) and considers Sooners graduate assistant Chip Viney like an older brother/mentor. I fully expect him to be a part of the class of 2016.

3. DE Xavier Kelly 6-5/250 from Wichita, KS
Kelly recently took his first visit to Norman and by all accounts it couldn't have gone better unless he left committed. This might be a guy the Sooners have to wait a while for, but they are in great shape.

4. WR Camron Williams 6-3/200 from Dallas, TX.
The Sooners main competition for Williams is TTech, Oklahoma State, and Baylor should the decide to offer. I don't think anyone can catch the Sooners lead for Williams.

5. LB Pernell Jefferson 6-2/235 from New Orleans, LA
Jefferson has had the Sooners at the top of his list since basically since the Sooners offered. Mississippi State will be the Sooners chief competition assuming LSU doesn't offer him.
