Sterling Shepard stepped on the Oklahoma Sooners campus following in his late father's footsteps. During the youngster's freshman campaign, Shepard earned four starts while coaches across the league tabbed the receiver as the Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year.
Continuing to progress while at the University of Oklahoma, Shepard quickly became the No. 1 target. Against TCU in 2014 as a junior with the defense focused on him, Shepard produced career numbers. Amassing 215 yards on seven grabs, the star receiver hauled a career long 75-yard reception.
Here a few highlights from his first two season as a Sooner.
