Five Sooners Named To Phil Steele's Preseason All-American Team

College football guru Phil Steele has released his 2015 Preseason All-American Team and five Sooners are listed. Running back Alex Ross was the only Oklahoma player to make the first team, while fellow running back Samaje Perine and linebacker Eric Striker were listed on the second team.

Corner Zack Sanchez was listed on the third team defense and receiver Sterling Shepard made the fourth team offense.

Across the conference, Baylor's Shawn Oakman made the first team defense and West Virginia's Karl Joseph joined Striker on the second team defense. TCU had two players on the second team offense in quarterback Trevone Boykin and receiver Josh Doctson.

Baylor, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech also placed guys on the third and fourth teams completing a total of 15 players from the Big 12 that made the list.
