In 1985 the Oklahoma Sooners were forced to place the ball in Jamelle Holieway's hands after losing Troy Aikman to a season ending injury. In support, OU fielded a physical defense boasting three All-Americans. Holieway stepped onto the field and the rest is history as the Sooners brought home a National Championship by defeating Penn State in the Orange Bowl.
