The Oklahoma Sooners fielded one of the most prolific offenses in college football history during the 2008 season. Headlined by Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Sam Bradford, the program shattered multiple school records including the single season Passing/Rushing Touchdown mark with 96 offensive scores.
En route to a National Championship bid, Bradford collected 4,720 yards through the air while DeMarco Murray broke the 1,000 yard barrier on the ground join Chris Brown that same year. The effort secured a spot in history as the only school to witness two 1,000+ yard rushers with a 4,000+ yard passer.
Not to be forgotten, Juaquin Iglesias became the leading receiver with another 1,000+ yard performance in 2008.
