Class of 2015 defensive lineman Du'Vonta Lampkin (6-4/305) from Houston, TX has had an interesting recruitment to say the least. Earlier today we found that it's not over.
He tweeted out that he is no longer going to be attending Texas.

He also made sure to clarify that it was not because of grades.
Just to say i have a qualifying GPA and a 1520 SAT score! Grades wasnt the issue.

Recruited by Jerry Montgomery, Lampkin was one of the earliest commitments for the Sooners, who then subsequently de-committed and ended up signing with the Longhorns.
Initially drawing offers from eleven different schools, including Big 12 rivals Baylor, Oklahoma State, and TCU, it now appears that the Sooners might once again find themselves with Lampkin as a late addition to the class of 2015.
