Earlier today, Lon Kruger and the Oklahoma Sooners Basketball Program announced Frank Booker had made the decision to transfer.
"I had a great experience here," said Booker. "I appreciate Coach Kruger giving me the opportunity to come play basketball at OU. I've grown a lot since I've been here. It was a hard decision, but it simply came down to the opportunity to return closer to home and to get more playing time." - via SoonerSports
Throughout the duration of his sophomore campaign, Booker emerged as a scoring option late in the season with a career high 17-point performance against Texas Tech. Helping the Sooners earn a trip to the Sweet 16, the sharp-shooter from Augusta, GA averaged 6.7 points per game while shooting 37.5% from beyond the arc during the NCAA Tournament.
Where ever Booker lands, the folks here at Crimson & Cream Machine wish him nothing but the best!
