Running Back Keith Ford Suspended Indefinitely

The running back depth for the Sooners has taken a hit as it was announced that Keith Ford has been suspended.

As far as what the specifics are we can only speculate, but it doesn't look good for Keith to remain a member of the Sooner football team going forward. In fact his name is already missing from the official team website. There was already multiple rumors of him wanting to transfer before today's announcement.

This leaves the Sooner backfield still very talented but lacking depth. Joe Mixon will be held out of the spring game and true freshman Rodney Anderson has a sprained MCL that will keep him out till the summer. So look for a spring game filled with Daniel Brooks and Alex Ross.
